Cabinair Services announces major acquisition in AeroKnow

With AeroKnow’s EASA certifications, Cabinair Services will be able to provide enhanced engineering support and expand its range of services to include more complex repairs and modifications.
Cabinair claims that AeroKnow’s extensive experience in repairs and modifications of aircraft components, as well as their ability to design and manufacture aviation parts, will significantly enhance Cabinair Services' offerings.

Cabinair Services has acquired majority shareholding in AeroKnow SIA thus enhancing its capabilities by integrating AeroKnow’s expertise in EASA Part 21J Design Organization Approval (DOA) and EASA Part 21G Production Organization Approval (POA). 

AeroKnow SIA is a prominent Latvian-based aviation engineering and design house, with engineers located all around the world.

Key Benefits of the Acquisition:

  • Enhanced Service Portfolio: The merger combines Cabinair Services’ strengths in interior design, refurbishment and repair with AeroKnow’s engineering proficiency, offering comprehensive solutions to customers.
  • Increased Technical Capabilities: With AeroKnow’s EASA certifications, Cabinair Services will be able to provide enhanced engineering support and expand its range of services to include more complex repairs and modifications.
  • Broader Market Reach: The acquisition enables Cabinair Services to extend its reach in the European and Asian market, leveraging AeroKnow’s established presence and relationships within the aviation industry.

Excited to welcome AeroKnow into the Cabinair Services family, Vito Mirko Giacovelli, commercial director, Cabinair Services says that this acquisition aligns with thier commitment to increasing the presence in the global aviation market.

Cabinair claims that AeroKnow’s extensive experience in repairs and modifications of aircraft components, as well as their ability to design and manufacture aviation parts, will significantly enhance Cabinair Services’ offerings.

AeroKnow’s current operations will continue as usual, and the integration process is expected to be seamless, ensuring uninterrupted service for all existing clients. The combined entity will operate under the Cabinair Services brand, reinforcing its position as a leading provider of aviation interior solutions. Ellex in Latvia provided legal support to Cabinair Services

Cabinair Services is a UK-based well-established service provider specialised in aircraft interior design, refurbishment and repair.
