Avianca and GOL Linhas Aéreas have unveiled INSIGNIA, a new premium travel proposition designed to elevate the passenger experience across their networks, combining enhanced ground services with an upgraded onboard offering.
Presented in Bogotá, the INSIGNIA proposition brings together VIP lounges, renewed ground services and a redesigned onboard experience focused on comfort, rest, dining, entertainment and connectivity.
Premium cabin experience
At the heart of INSIGNIA is an onboard proposition designed around the needs of premium travellers. The experience includes a curated gastronomic offering developed in collaboration with a renowned Colombian chef, alongside high-quality entertainment and connectivity options.
The airline is positioning the offering as a comprehensive premium experience that extends beyond the aircraft cabin, connecting the passenger journey from the ground through to the flight experience.
Avianca has already introduced INSIGNIA on its Boeing 787 services between Bogotá and New York, marking an initial step in the rollout of the premium proposition across its network.
Enhancing passenger journey
The new proposition is part of Avianca and GOL’s broader strategy to strengthen their premium offering across the Americas and on services to Europe.
Alongside INSIGNIA, the airlines have introduced Magno, a new status within their LifeMiles and Smiles loyalty programmes. Magno is designed to provide the airlines’ most loyal customers with personalised benefits and exclusive services.
With more than 48 million members across their loyalty programmes, Avianca and GOL are using the new premium proposition to deepen engagement with their frequent travellers while delivering a more differentiated passenger experience.
For the aircraft interiors sector, the INSIGNIA rollout reflects the continued focus among airlines on premiumisation, onboard comfort, connectivity, entertainment and differentiated passenger experiences as key elements of the modern cabin proposition.
