The ATR HighLine-equipped aircraft features a 1-1 seating configuration, enhanced passenger privacy, and premium cabin amenities, with commercial services scheduled to begin in December 2026.

Air Tahiti has taken delivery of an ATR 72-600 featuring the manufacturer’s HighLine All-Business Class cabin, introducing a premium regional aircraft configuration designed to elevate the passenger experience across French Polynesia.

With 26 individual seats arranged in a 1-1 layout, the aircraft offers every passenger direct aisle access, greater personal space and enhanced privacy. Air Tahiti becomes the second airline to introduce the all-business-class configuration on an ATR aircraft, following Berjaya Air, which began operating the first ATR 72-600 equipped with the HighLine cabin earlier this year.

The aircraft will support the launch of Air Tahiti Signature, a premium travel offering connecting Tahiti with sought-after destinations, including Bora Bora and Raiatea-Tahaa. The airline plans to commence commercial operations with the aircraft in December 2026.

An executive-style ceiling design contributes to a brighter, more open cabin environment, reinforcing the premium positioning of the aircraft. Together, these features are intended to bring elements of business-class travel typically associated with larger aircraft into regional operations.

Polynesian design meets premium travel

Developed in collaboration with Air Tahiti, the aircraft’s interior incorporates design elements inspired by Polynesian culture. The cabin forms part of a wider premium travel proposition that combines onboard comfort with dedicated ground services and an upgraded passenger offering.

Through Air Tahiti Signature, the airline aims to provide an enhanced end-to-end journey for travellers visiting some of French Polynesia’s most popular destinations. The new aircraft will operate both scheduled services and charter missions, giving the airline flexibility in how it delivers the
