Air India has launched its new wireless inflight entertainment (IFE) service, ‘Vista’ across its wide-body fleet. This move aims to enhance the travel experience with a seamless entertainment experience.
Vista, powered by Bluebox’s Blueview digital services platform and delivered through the Bluebox Wow wireless network system, allows passengers to stream a wide range of content directly on their personal electronic devices. This includes Bollywood blockbusters, Hollywood premieres, global music hits, and engaging documentaries. The service also features a live map display for real-time flight tracking.
The software is available on iOS, Android, Windows, and macOS devices and provides easy access to over 950 hours of entertainment, encompassing classic melodies, BAFTA and Oscar-nominated titles, short films, acclaimed series, and curated content for children.
Expressing enthusiasm about the new service, Rajesh Dogra, chief customer experience officer, of Air India says, “We are continuously striving to anticipate and meet the evolving needs of our modern travelers. Air India stated that Vista will soon be introduced to Air India’s narrow-body aircraft, expanding its reach. However, it will not be available on the newly inducted B777 and A350 aircraft.
