Aviationscouts, a leading reseller and service provider for used components and spare parts for aircraft interiors, recently joined Aerotec Europe Holding GmbH (AES). Effective June 11, 2024, Aviationscouts will officially become part of the AES group, a subsidiary of Borromin Capital Fonds IV.
Speaking on the recent acquisition, Thomas Bulirsch, chief executive and founder, aviationscouts said: “This acquisition is a significant step for aviationscouts. Integration into the Aerotec/AES group allows us to expand our service portfolio and strengthen our market position. I look forward to continuing as CEO and actively shaping the growth strategy of aviationscouts.”
He will continue to lead the company and remain the chief executive.
Aerotec Europe Holding GmbH, which includes its subsidiary Airplane Equipment & Services A.E.S. GmbH, was acquired by Borromin Capital Fonds IV in September 2022. Borromin aims to expand the company through both organic growth and strategic acquisitions.
