Duncan Aviation’s full-service MRO facility in Lincoln, Nebraska, gives the old-school Falcon 2000EX a major makeover! showcasing an extraordinary blend of luxury and functionality. This renovation highlights the craftsmanship and innovative design that Duncan Aviation is renowned for, breathing new life into an aircraft that had seen better days.

Aesthetic Elegance
Let’s start with the carpet—100% silk, exquisite carpet that adorns the cabin. This isn’t your average flooring, It’s got that marbled look that makes the entire cabin pop. Senior Lead Designer Stephanie Kuhn says, “Most carpets are basic, but this silk shines and adds serious elegance.” It’s durable and looks super luxe, resisting the boring flatness of typical carpets. Talk about a showstopper!

Modern Updates
Duncan didn’t stop at the carpet. They rolled out fresh one-piece PSU overlay panels that match up perfectly with LED lighting, allowing for easier installation and maintenance compared to traditional designs. The streamlined drinkrails were also updated to enhance functionality while maintaining a contemporary aesthetic.

A particular focus was placed on increasing aisle clearance between the conference table and the settee. By redesigning the backrest and reducing its thickness, the team was able to provide an additional two inches of space without compromising seating comfort.

Striking Exterior
Kuhn presented several paint design options, and after some client feedback, they landed on a killer design with sleek blue, navy, and silver stripes. It’s all about that professional yet fresh look—This modern design not only enhances the aircraft’s visual presence but also reflects the clients’ preferences while maintaining a unique identity.

Attention to Detail
The attention to detail extends throughout the aircraft. Black pearl satin finishes on metal surfaces harmonize beautifully with new composite brown, ebony veneer on drink rails and tabletops. The updated window panel fabric adds a soft texture and includes liquid-repellent properties for easy maintenance. The blue leather lower sidewalls complement both the carpet and exterior paint, ensuring a cohesive aesthetic.

New Prizm LED lighting, USB ports, and a state-of-the-art Collins Venue Cabin Management System elevate the cabin’s functionality, while the Alto Technology sound system promises an immersive audio experience.

A Testament to Craftsmanship
Tracey Boesch, Senior Modifications & Sales Representative, reflected on the transformation, noting the dramatic change from before to after. “From the upgrades to the contemporary materials, we breathed new life into the aircraft,” she said. “It’s always rewarding to witness the artisanship of our team come to fruition in such a stunning way.”

Duncan Aviation is setting the bar high for aircraft refurbishments, proving that even legacy models can come back stronger and sleeker than ever. This Falcon 2000EX is not just an upgrade; it’s a full-on glow-up!
