GAL Aerospace has come up with an interesting solution aimed at boosting the overhead cabin capacity for regional airlines using Embraer E1 aircraft as a part of its ongoing efforts to enhance the customer experience and prolong the service life of aircraft equipped with classic interiors.
Highlighting the excitement to support regional aircraft customers, Mohamed Kodematy, vice president, business development and sales throws light on the versatility of Embraer Ejet series and GAL’s commitment to improving customer experience and reducing airline costs.
Addressing the challenge of limited overhead bin space, which can lead to delays and inconvenience for passengers, GAL’s plug and play replacement eliminates the need for gate check services.
GAL claims that this innovative solution is in response to identified demand from regional airlines and leasing companies, including two major North American carriers. The new solution is already certified by regulators from Canada and US.
Expressing confidence in importance of Ejet series in regional market, Bruno Morin, President and chief operations officer at GAL anticipates that GAL’s interior product will contribute to an enhanced customer experience, cost efficiency, and seamless service integration during fleet expansion.
GAL says that this solution is a testament to GAL Aerospace’ commitment to addressing the specific needs of regional carriers and enhancing the overall functionality and passenger experience of the Embraer E1 series.
Interestingly a few days back United Airlines revealed the retrofit plan of 50 of its E175s operated by SkyWest Airlines with larger over-head bins, and became the first airline to offer these new bins on the E175.
