Greenpoint Technologies has completed and delivered a VVIP-configured Boeing 787-9 aircraft to an undisclosed customer.

The project involved the full interior completion and integration, including design, engineering, manufacturing, certification, and entry-into-service support.

The aircraft features multiple cabin zones, including dedicated living and rest areas. Interior elements include custom ceiling structures, acoustic treatment, and integrated in-flight entertainment and communication systems. Cabin monuments and components were produced in-house to align with aircraft systems and certification requirements.

The aircraft also includes the company’s AeroSuite concept, a fully enclosed private suite with a lie-flat bed, reclining seat, storage units, and an integrated display system.

Klaus Koester, CEO of Greenpoint Technologies, said the delivery reflects the company’s continued work on Boeing 787 VVIP completion programmes, which involve complex engineering and integration requirements.

The delivery adds to the company’s work on Boeing 787-based business jet programmes, which are typically configured for head-of-state and private operators requiring customised interiors and integrated communication systems.
