J&C Aero recently inaugurated with 3,6000 square meter cabin interior hub in Vilnius, Lithuania. The hub includes high-performance production and research facilities that enable the company to deliver full-cycle cabin retrofit programs: from new aircraft cabin interior development to its certification, production, and installation.
J&C claims that the hub has all modern production facilities including full range of cabin interior capabilities like machining, composite, painting, and flatbed cutting shops, as well as cleaning, sanding, vacuum, foam, and general workshop areas.
J&C Aero’s in-house DOA, POA, CAMO, and Part 145 teams, together with electrical, livery, 3D printing, and sewing units, have moved to the new cabin interior hub, thus integrating its entire team under one roof.
Calling the new facility a game-changer, Laurynas Skukauskas, chief executive, J&C Aero claims that with this facility J&C can deliver turnkey aircraft programs that cover everything from cabin modifications and the development of custom interior parts to their production and installation. “The new capabilities also make us much more flexible, particularly compared with larger market players: where one takes years, our work can be done in months,” adds Skukauskas.
The hub is also home to J&C Aero’s R&D department producing innovative cabin components, including custom-shaped lightweight windscreens, moveable class dividers with integrated Passenger Information Signs, and the industry-recognized convertible jump seat/aisle chair (Jump Seat Duo).
“I am very proud of our team and grateful to our project partners – thanks to their invaluable effort and support, J&C Aero now has all the means to boost its presence on the global cabin interior market even further, concludes Laurynas Skukauskas.
