Within a month of achieving type certification by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Gulfstream announced the deliveries of first two brand-new ultra-long range G700 private jets. On April 23, 2024 the two new jets entered service.

Marking an incredible milestone in Gulfstream’s history of raising the bar for the business aviation industry Mark Burns, president, Gulfstream appreciates the confidence of customers in their aircraft and looks forward for more deliveries in coming week.

The G700 features the most spacious cabin in the industry and the Gulfstream Cabin Experience with 100% fresh air, whisper-quiet noise levels, natural light from 20 Gulfstream Panoramic Oval Windows and the industry’s lowest cabin altitude. The aircraft set more than 50 city-pair speed records prior to entering service and can fly 7,750 nautical miles/14,353 kilometers at Mach 0.85 or 6,650 nm/12,316 km at Mach 0.90. The maximum operating speed of the G700 is Mach 0.935, the fastest in the Gulfstream fleet.

“We are excited for our customers to experience the unparalleled G700 as we continue to deliver this exceptional aircraft around the world,” adds Burns.

The G700 is a large, heavy business jet that can seat up to 19 passengers or sleep 10 in a sleep configuration. It has four living areas that can be used for dining, business meetings, or entertainment purposes. There is a lounge area, a private main suite with a bathroom and shower, a large galley, and a crew rest area. The aircraft has circadian lighting to beat jet lag and a fresh, non-recycled air system.

The aircraft has two Rolls-Royce Pearl 700 engines that provide 18,250 pounds of thrust. The G700 is an upgrade from the very popular G650 in terms of size and range.
