After Vancouver, Toronto, and Chicago, Shanghai becomes the fourth Allegris destination worldwide and the first one in Asia.
Thrilled to introduce Allegris on the Shanghai route, Jens Ritter, chief executive, of Lufthansa Airlines is convinced that they will meet the needs of various Chinese passengers. “Every guest has their understanding of premium. This is why with the Allegris range we focus on maximum individuality and exclusivity and premium service along the entire travel chain,” Ritter adds.
Shanghai is currently the first Allegris destination in Asia. Ritter aims to further enhance the customer experience onboard and strengthen our leading position on the China-Europe route.
Lufthansa claims that three and half months post the introduction of Allegris on the North American route, the customer feedback is overwhelmingly positive. The airline further goes on to describe the passenger experience as extremely satisfying. In Business Class, up to 97% rate the flight with Allegris as better than before.
In the summer schedule of 2024, Lufthansa offers daily direct connections from Munich to Shanghai and Beijing. Altogether the German flagship carrier provides 40 weekly flights from Germany to the Greater China Region.
