With Diwali just round the corner, Emirates is all set to sprinkle some festive magic on flights between Dubai and several key Indian cities from October 28 to November 4. This year, the airline is going all out to celebrate with a mouthwatering selection of traditional treats and a lineup of entertainment that’s sure to get travelers in the festive spirit (you might not feel homesick after having these offerings or feel it even more!).

Tasty Treats on Board
Travelers flying in Premium Economy and Economy Class can look forward to enjoying motichoor laddu, a beloved sweet made from fried flour balls soaked in sugar syrup, served alongside their meals. And if you’re in First or Business Class, treat yourself to a fancy Pista roll that’s basically a bite of heaven.

In the Emirates lounges in Dubai, guests can indulge in a spread that includes dishes like firangi chaat and lamb rogan josh, complemented by a selection of sweet treats such as ghewar and gulkand kulfi. For those looking to sip on something festive, the signature Reborn cocktail and Iced Masala mocktail are highlights. Isn’t it great when airlines recognize and celebrate cultural flavors? Food has such a powerful way of connecting us to our roots.

To keep passengers entertained, Emirates is offering up to 215 Indian movies on its award-winning ice system, featuring both new blockbusters and classic favorites. Expect a range of films in nine languages, including hits like Jawan and Tiger 3, along with a special collection from Yash Raj Films. Plus, there’s a curated selection of over 45 Indian music albums to enhance the festive vibes.

Celebrating Across the Globe
Emirates isn’t just focusing on Indian routes; lounges in Cape Town and Johannesburg will also feature festive favorites like jalebi and burfi, catering to the Indian diaspora celebrating Diwali far from home.

With these offerings, Emirates is not just a mode of travel but a celebration of culture and community, ensuring that every passenger feels the warmth of Diwali, no matter where they are in the world.
