Rosen Aviation has introduced its latest innovation, the 4K Smart Map Box, designed to enhance in-flight entertainment by delivering high-resolution moving maps to aircraft cabins. This standalone unit is compatible with both new installations and retrofit projects, offering flexibility for various aircraft configurations.
The 4K Smart Map Box integrates seamlessly with existing cabin management systems, providing passengers with detailed, real-time flight information displayed in stunning 4K resolution. Its compact design ensures easy installation without significant modifications to the aircraft’s interior.
The unit offers dual HDMI outputs, USB input, S/PDIF and analog audio outputs, Bluetooth audio capability, gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi connectivity, and one TB of internal storage. The device will carry Google Play Store Certification, allowing access to popular streaming applications, and Widevine Level 1 certification for secure digital rights management.
