Jet Aviation has announced the redelivery of its quietest VIP narrow-body aircraft to date, setting a new benchmark in cabin acoustics and luxury for the business aviation sector. The completion, carried out at Jet Aviation’s Basel facility, features a meticulously engineered interior that achieves sound levels below 40 dB SIL (Speech Interference Level), positioning it as the quietest cabin in the company’s history.
The cabin’s design emphasizes both aesthetic appeal and acoustic performance. Curved ceilings exceeding 2.1 meters enhance the sense of space and contribute to sound dispersion, while four flexible OLED screens are seamlessly integrated into the sidewalls, offering passengers an immersive entertainment experience without compromising the cabin’s sleek design.
Jet Aviation employed advanced materials and construction techniques to achieve the remarkable noise reduction. Specially certified materials were used to dampen sound, and intricate production methods minimized noise from interior systems, ensuring a tranquil environment for passengers.
This project underscores Jet Aviation’s comprehensive in-house capabilities, encompassing design, engineering, production, installation, and certification. The Jet Aviation Design Studio led the interior design, focusing on creating a harmonious blend of luxury and functionality. The Basel completion center’s team ensured that every aspect of the cabin met the highest standards of quality and performance.
The successful redelivery of this aircraft not only highlights Jet Aviation’s commitment to innovation but also sets a new standard for VIP narrow-body completions. By achieving unprecedented levels of cabin quietness, the company reinforces its position as a leader in delivering bespoke, high-performance interiors that cater to the most discerning clientele.
