American Airlines has partnered with Champagne Bollinger, marking the carrier’s first collaboration with a prestige Champagne house both on the ground and in the air.

Starting next month, Champagne Bollinger will be poured in Flagship First and Business cabins on flights to and from Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG), before expanding to additional international routes later in the year.

From this week, Flagship lounge customers at Dallas Fort Worth (DFW), Miami (MIA), and Chicago O’Hare (ORD) are being welcomed with Bollinger’s flagship Special Cuvée, with Los Angeles (LAX) and Philadelphia (PHL) lounges to follow. Admirals Club customers will also be able to purchase Bollinger across the system.

The move comes as American prepares for its centennial year, reinforcing its investment in premium hospitality. “A House as storied as Bollinger is the perfect fit for American on the eve of our centennial year,” said Heather Garboden, Chief Customer Officer at American.
Champagne Bollinger’s Managing Director, Charles-Armand de Belenet, added: “Sharing Special Cuvée in America’s premium lounges and Flagship cabins allows us to extend the Bollinger vision of hospitality to an inspiring new setting.”
The partnership complements American’s wider enhancements to its premium offering, including new Flagship lounges planned in Charlotte (CLT) and Miami (MIA).
