Gulfstream Aerospace has delivered its first customer G800, the world’s longest-range business jet, marking a key milestone for the ultra-long-range flagship. The aircraft, completed at Gulfstream’s Appleton, Wisconsin, facility, enters service following FAA and EASA certifications granted on April 16.
The Appleton site carried out the G800’s completion work, reflecting the company’s focus on advanced interior outfitting. The facility features a large-cabin completions center, a state-of-the-art paint hangar capable of handling up to 48 aircraft annually, and a modernized maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) complex.
The G800 cabin, recently recognized with the 2025 International Yacht & Aviation Award for Private Jet Design, introduces a blend of performance and passenger well-being. Customers can configure the interior with up to four living areas, or three living areas plus a dedicated crew compartment.

The cabin features 16 Gulfstream Panoramic Oval Windows, the industry’s lowest cabin altitude of 2,840 feet (at 41,000 ft cruise), 100% fresh air, and a plasma ionization purification system designed to enhance comfort and wellness on ultra-long flights.

The G800 offers flexibility in range-speed trade-offs: 8,200 nautical miles (15,186 km) at Mach 0.85, 7,000 nm (12,964 km) at Mach 0.90, and 8,000 nm (14,816 km) at Mach 0.87. Gulfstream also confirmed an increased maximum operating speed of Mach 0.935.
With this delivery, Gulfstream continues to position its next-generation fleet, including the G400, G500, G600, and G700, as leaders in cabin innovation and passenger-centric design, backed by its global customer support network.
