Star-studded launch highlights sport, style, and passenger-experience innovation
Qatar Airways delivered a show-stopping weekend at the Qatar Airways Qatar Grand Prix, marking the global debut of its new Formula 1-themed Boeing 777 livery designed by artist and producer Swizz Beatz. The flagship aircraft will operate to major destinations including London, Melbourne, New York, and Tokyo throughout the winter season.
In the lead-up to the Sprint race, thousands of fans witnessed a spectacular celebratory flypast over the Lusail International Circuit, where select media experienced the event from onboard the aircraft. Equipped with Starlink high-speed “gate-to-gate” Wi-Fi, the flight enabled live broadcast capability in real time as it passed over the circuit, highlighting Qatar Airways’ ongoing investment in next-gen inflight connectivity.

The official reveal followed at the Qatar Airways Hangar, featuring a dramatic entrance by Kevin Hart, staged as an F1 driver performing celebratory “doughnuts.” The unveiling drew major global celebrities and partners, including David Beckham, Jessica Alba, Rio Ferdinand, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Swizz Beatz, and Novak Djokovic, cementing the activation as one of the weekend’s biggest highlights.
