Star-studded launch highlights sport, style, and passenger-experience innovation

Qatar Airways delivered a show-stopping weekend at the Qatar Airways Qatar Grand Prix, marking the global debut of its new Formula 1-themed Boeing 777 livery designed by artist and producer Swizz Beatz. The flagship aircraft will operate to major destinations including London, Melbourne, New York, and Tokyo throughout the winter season.

In the lead-up to the Sprint race, thousands of fans witnessed a spectacular celebratory flypast over the Lusail International Circuit, where select media experienced the event from onboard the aircraft. Equipped with Starlink high-speed “gate-to-gate” Wi-Fi, the flight enabled live broadcast capability in real time as it passed over the circuit, highlighting Qatar Airways’ ongoing investment in next-gen inflight connectivity.

Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Officer, said: “The debut of our latest F1 livery drew massive global interest and became the most-tracked flight on Flightradar24 for 24 hours. We are proud to bring sport and creativity together in ways that elevate the passenger and community experience.”

The custom-painted Boeing 777, registration A7-BEG, will be available for aviation fans and travellers to spot worldwide this season.
