Lufthansa Technik has been selected as a development and supply partner for cabin systems on the new Embraer Praetor 500E and Embraer Praetor 600E.
The programme includes development of an integrated inflight entertainment and cabin management system (IFE & CMS), along with new display, audio, and digital service features.
A key addition is a 42-inch curved OLED touchscreen embedded into the cabin sidewall, forming part of Embraer’s Smart Window system. The display connects to external cameras and can show outside views as well as cabin controls and media functions.

The cabin management system is supported by a customised graphical user interface developed for Embraer. It enables control of lighting, temperature, connectivity, and other cabin functions.
Audio is provided through membrane-based speakers using ring-mode converter technology, designed for distributed installation within the cabin.
Lufthansa Technik is also introducing a digital ground platform for the aircraft. The system allows over-the-air software updates, remote configuration, and additional feature integration.

The programme builds on previous collaboration between the two companies on the Phenom 100EX and Phenom 300E aircraft, covering design, engineering, and production phases of cabin systems development.
