Safran has appointed Kevin Pearson as the new CEO of Safran Seats USA, marking another key leadership transition within the company’s aircraft interiors business.
Pearson brings nearly two decades of experience within the Safran Group and has held several senior leadership roles spanning engineering, operations, program management, and global supply chain management. His extensive industry background is expected to support Safran Seats USA as the company continues to strengthen its position in the highly competitive aircraft interiors market.

Prior to his new appointment, Pearson served as Executive Vice President of Strategic Purchasing & Supply Chain at Safran Cabin, where he played a major role in shaping the company’s global supplier strategy while driving operational performance improvements across the business.
The company also acknowledged the contributions of outgoing CEO Trice Smith, thanking him for his leadership, commitment, and service to Safran Seats USA.
The appointment comes at a time when aircraft interiors manufacturers are navigating increasing production ramp-ups, supply chain pressures, and evolving airline cabin modernization requirements across the global aviation industry.
