Air Canada has unveiled a comprehensive new collection of premium bedding and amenity kits across all cabin classes, reinforcing its commitment to enhancing passenger comfort through thoughtfully designed sleep essentials, wellness products and sustainably sourced travel accessories.
Rolling out on international flights beginning this month, the refreshed onboard collection introduces upgraded duvets and pillows in Signature Class, larger and softer blankets for Premium Economy and Economy Class, and redesigned amenity kits developed in collaboration with leading Canadian brands. The initiative forms part of the airline’s broader investment in its end-to-end “Glowing Hearted” customer experience, aimed at helping passengers arrive at their destinations feeling refreshed and well-rested.
The latest enhancements reflect evolving passenger expectations for greater comfort, wellness and premium hospitality, particularly on long-haul international journeys.
“Our goal was to create an experience that allows customers to settle in, relax and enjoy restorative rest throughout their journey,” said Jacqueline Harkness, Managing Director, Products & Services at Air Canada.
“From the generously sized Premium Economy and Economy Class blanket that keeps you comfortable from shoulders to feet, to our new plush Signature Class duvets, every element introduced as part of this launch was thoughtfully chosen to help customers settle in, relax and rest throughout their journey. We’ve spent meaningful time with our customers, getting their perspective on what would make a flight more relaxing and restful. Then we went to work investing in high-quality products that deliver the very best that leading Canadian partners have to offer.”
Canadian design meets passenger wellness
At the heart of the new offering is a collaboration with Hunter Amenities, Air Canada’s Canadian hospitality partner, which developed and manufactured the airline’s new amenity kits with an emphasis on durability, functionality and reusability.
The redesigned kits are housed in reusable recycled cotton drawstring bags, replacing conventional single-use packaging while encouraging continued use after the flight. Every component has been selected to combine practicality with premium aesthetics, reflecting a growing industry trend towards sustainable onboard products.
“Working closely with Air Canada, we designed every component from the drawstring bag to the eye mask and socks to be used well beyond the flight, bringing added purpose to high-quality travel essentials for customers,” said John Hunter, Founder of Hunter Amenities.
Further strengthening its focus on Canadian brands, Air Canada has partnered with Sahajan, a Canadian skincare company known for blending Ayurvedic ingredients with clinical science, to introduce premium wellness products in its Signature Class amenity kits.
Passengers travelling in Signature Class will receive Lip Karma, a nourishing lip balm formulated with castor and argan oils, alongside The Hand Remedy, a rich, fast-absorbing hand cream designed to combat skin dehydration commonly experienced during air travel.
“With cabin humidity often between 10 and 20 per cent, air travel can quickly dehydrate the skin, especially the delicate skin on our hands and lips,” said Lisa Mattam, Founder and CEO of Sahajan. “We’re proud to partner with Air Canada to bring Sahajan’s blend of clinical science and time-tested Ayurvedic wisdom to their amenities program, sharing our natural wellness products with Air Canada’s customers on international routes.”
Enhanced comfort across cabin
The latest collection extends beyond premium cabins, with Air Canada introducing improved comfort products throughout the aircraft. Passengers travelling in Economy and Premium Economy will receive a new six-foot polar fleece blanket, designed to provide full-body coverage regardless of passenger height. Premium Economy travellers will also benefit from upgraded amenity kits featuring contoured eye masks, high-performance 3M earplugs, knitted cabin socks, antimicrobial bamboo toothbrushes and Colgate toothpaste.
In Air Canada Signature Class, the airline has upgraded its sleep experience with a new 145 gsm duvet offering increased softness and warmth, complemented by a redesigned pillow featuring enhanced AirFlow filling to improve breathability and support during long-haul flights.
The Signature Class amenity kit has also been refreshed with a premium adjustable blackout eye mask, Sahajan skincare products, 3M noise-reducing earplugs, Canadian-made cotton cabin socks, dental care essentials and a reusable recycled cotton bag.
Strengthening the premium onboard experience
The introduction of the new bedding and amenity collection reflects a wider trend among full-service international carriers investing in cabin products that combine luxury, wellness and sustainability. As airlines continue to differentiate themselves through the passenger experience, soft products such as bedding, skincare amenities and reusable travel accessories have become increasingly important in enhancing brand identity and customer satisfaction.
Developed entirely in partnership with Canadian suppliers, Air Canada’s latest onboard collection not only reinforces its commitment to supporting domestic brands but also demonstrates how carefully curated cabin interiors and hospitality products can elevate the overall travel experience across every class of service.
The new collection is now being introduced progressively on Air Canada’s international network, providing passengers with an upgraded onboard environment that blends premium comfort, thoughtful functionality and distinctly Canadian craftsmanship.
