Fiji Airways is spicing up its inflight experience with a fresh Pacific Rim-inspired menu and a brand-new Dine on Demand service in Business Class, a first for the airline. These enhancements, now available on select long-haul flights, are part of a wider effort to elevate Fijian hospitality and create a more personalized, restaurant-style dining experience in the sky.
The Dine on Demand concept allows Business Class passengers to choose what they’d like to eat and when they’d like to eat, turning mealtime into your time. Alongside this, the new menu draws from the bold, vibrant flavours of Southeast Asia, Australia, and the Pacific Islands, with a special spotlight on locally sourced Fijian ingredients.
Highlights include Grilled Mahi Mahi with prawn chili oil, Hamachi Crudo with Fijian sea grapes, and coconut-simmered Fijian Chicken Curry. There’s also Roasted Cauliflower with Pacific greens for plant-based travellers, and decadent desserts like Salted Chocolate Crème and Kumquat Cheesecake. All dishes are finished and plated onboard for that fine-dining feel.

To drink, guests can enjoy cold-pressed tropical juices, signature island-inspired cocktails, or premium wines from New Zealand, Australia, and California. Local treats like artisanal Fijian chocolate are served with tea or coffee. Business Class tables are set with handcrafted Vau flowers, bone China, and crisp white linens for a touch of elegance.
Economy travellers aren’t left out; they’ll notice updated meals, new mocktails and cocktails, hot chocolate, and extra snack options. Dietary preferences are also well accommodated with pre-arranged options available.
These upgrades are part of a broader strategy to place Fiji Airways among the world’s top airlines. “We fly for Fiji,” says CEO Andre Viljoen, noting the airline’s commitment to sharing Fijian joy and hospitality on every flight. The full rollout of the new service model is expected by July 2026.
