Pilatus has announced Gogo Galileo as a new factory-installed inflight connectivity option for the PC-24, bringing global high-speed broadband to the world’s first and only Super Versatile Jet.
The new connectivity system, certified by both the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), is powered by the OneWeb Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite network. It provides passengers with high-speed, low-latency internet access worldwide, enabling seamless connectivity for work, entertainment and communications throughout the flight.
Designed to meet the increasing demand for uninterrupted productivity in business aviation, the system transforms the PC-24 cabin into a connected workspace while supporting streaming, video conferencing and cloud-based applications.
Pilatus said the Gogo Galileo installation has been engineered as a fully integrated OEM solution. The antenna fairings have been carefully positioned and shaped to minimise aerodynamic drag and preserve the aircraft’s performance. According to the company, the installation has a negligible impact on take-off performance, climb rate and cruise speed, while also being designed to minimise cabin noise and maintain optimal weight and balance.
The connectivity platform offers global coverage with fast upload and download speeds, low latency and flexible service plans, providing operators with a future-ready solution that can adapt to evolving passenger expectations.
Alongside the connectivity upgrade, Pilatus has introduced a new in-flight entertainment system for the PC-24, developed in collaboration with Lufthansa Technik. The system features a 10-inch touchscreen display with a real-time 3D moving map, four premium cabin speakers including a subwoofer, mood lighting, USB charging ports, dedicated media storage and integrated Wi-Fi connectivity.
Pilatus has also expanded the cabin configuration options by introducing a large side-facing divan, the first of its kind in this aircraft category. Measuring nearly two metres in length, the divan can be converted into a bed during flight and includes integrated storage for pillows and blankets, further enhancing passenger comfort on longer journeys.
The latest enhancements reinforce the PC-24’s position in the business aviation market by combining versatile cabin functionality with next-generation global connectivity, enabling operators to deliver an improved passenger experience wherever the aircraft flies.
