RECARO Aircraft Seating is poised for a strong financial performance in 2025, with the company expecting double-digit revenue growth that will surpass its impressive 2024 achievement of approximately €576 million. The cabin seating manufacturer is scaling up on multiple fronts as the aviation industry continues its robust post-pandemic ramp-up.
Over the past year, RECARO has hired more than 200 new employees worldwide, strengthening its workforce to meet rising production requirements across commercial aircraft programs. This global expansion is supported by the company’s long-term space2grow strategy, a multi-site initiative designed to expand manufacturing capacity, streamline processes, and prepare for higher volume output.

A major component of this expansion is the investment in RECARO Aircraft Seating Polska, where a new production and office building is currently under development. The facility is expected to become operational in the second half of 2026, significantly boosting the company’s footprint in Europe.
In Germany, RECARO’s primary operations site is also undergoing capacity growth. The facility has increased its test seat production capabilities by 60%, accompanied by upgrades to the overall production layout. These enhancements are aimed at meeting both existing and anticipated demand from global airline and OEM customers.
To support its growing customer base in the Asia-Pacific region, RECARO will establish a new customer service office in Delhi in the first quarter of 2026. This expansion reinforces the company’s long-term commitment to airline operators in India, one of the world’s fastest-growing aviation markets.
At the same time, RECARO continues to strengthen its position in the premium travel segment. The company has been investing in new technologies and training programs to elevate capabilities within its business-class product portfolio. Internal teams across operations and customer service have begun intensive preparation to handle the upcoming rise in production volumes.
The company is moving forward with its Supplier Furnished Equipment (SFE) contract with Embraer, first announced in 2023. This partnership enables seamless integration of RECARO seating products into the aircraft manufacturing process and supports consistent delivery timelines.
RECARO’s latest seating innovation, the lightweight, award-winning R3 economy-class long-range seat, has already been successfully delivered from three different production sites. The product’s customer reception has been highly positive, reflected in recent surveys showing a notable increase in satisfaction scores.
“The global RECARO Aircraft Seating team has been dedicatedly going the extra mile and jointly achieved a great success by reaching the 2024 revenue in October of this year,” said Dr. Mark Hiller, CEO of RECARO Holding and RECARO Aircraft Seating. “RECARO is experiencing double-digit growth and continues to invest in the space2grow initiative with its expansion activities at all sites. I am beyond proud of the RECARO team’s achievement.”
With steady market demand, a growing customer base, and multi-site infrastructure investments, RECARO is positioning itself for sustained long-term growth. As airlines modernise their cabins and prepare for new aircraft deliveries, the company’s expanded capabilities and enhanced global presence place it in a strong position to supply next-generation seating solutions to carriers worldwide.
