TAP Air Portugal will launch a new long-haul Economy Prime cabin on June 1, 2026, expanding its product offering between standard Economy and Business Class. The cabin is now available for booking.
Economy Prime will be installed on the airline’s Airbus A330 and A321LR aircraft. It will feature 12 seats located directly behind Business Class, arranged four per row, with the adjacent seat blocked to provide additional space.
Passengers travelling in Economy Prime will have access to priority airport services, including dedicated check-in, fast-track security where available, priority boarding and baggage handling.

Onboard, the offering includes a main meal with two hot options, pre-selection of meals up to 24 hours before departure, and additional items such as an amenity kit and upgraded pillow.
The fare also includes increased mileage accrual under TAP’s Miles&Go programme, along with more flexible ticket change and refund conditions.
The new cabin reflects a broader industry trend of introducing enhanced Economy products with additional space and service elements.
