Iberia has redesigned the meals on offer in all its cabins, improving their quality and maintaining the essence of Spanish cuisine.
New Gastronomic Experience
Iberia has partnered with DO & CO to improve the quality of the menu designs in all cabins and flights, maintaining the essence of Spanish cuisine and products. The new meal options are available on all short as well as long-haul flights since mid-July 2024.
The airline renewed its proposal for Economy and Premium Economy class on long-haul flights, improving current services and adding new ones, such as a ”movie snack”. On flights less than 10.5 hours from Madrid, a Magnum Choc Ice is offered, while a delicious cookie will be provided during flights to Madrid so that customers can enjoy them while watching a movie.
On longer flights originating from Madrid, a tapas bag service is offered, which includes a selection of cold cuts, breadsticks, and olives (a vegetarian version is also available). On return flights, customers will be served sandwiches and, on night flights, crackers and cookies.
The airline has updated its snack service with new healthy products, such as fruit baskets, and hot and cold sandwiches. Before landing the airline offers additional products, depending on the arrival time of the flight, such as hot and cold sweet and savory dishes, in addition to the Iberia signature omelet for breakfast.
New Range of Gastrobar Products
Iberia has also introduced a new Gastrobar range, with a new selection of drinks, and sweet and savory snacks. Some of the new products this season are snack boxes, Starbucks coffee, new Tetera Azul teas, and amenity kits.
To make it easier for customers to select their drinks, later in the summer, the airline will launch the new service Gastrobar@seat so they can make their selection directly from their phones via shop.iberia.com.
Iberia has also designed a digital tool with direct access to certain functionalities from which customers can manage their experience from a single link. Through this platform, customers can find out about the in-flight meals, the Gastrobar service range, the entertainment system, download the digital press, and purchase Wi-Fi packages to surf the Internet during their flight. They can also check the last-minute information on other flights, check the boarding gate assigned to their connecting flight, and manage their reservations.
In the coming months, Iberia customers will also be able to track their luggage in real-time and make a pre-selection of their business class meal.
