RECARO Aircraft Seating is partnering with LATAM Airlines Group on a major retrofit program to equip the carrier’s Boeing 787-8 and 787-9 aircraft with its PL3530 premium class seats, beginning in 2027. The project covers 41 shipsets, with the first scheduled for delivery in the first half of that year.
The PL3530 seat, designed for long-haul operations, delivers enhanced passenger comfort and privacy with a wider seat, industry-leading 40-inch pitch, 8-inch recline, and integrated privacy wings. Tailored for LATAM’s new “Premium Comfort” cabin, the seats aim to create more personal space for work or relaxation.
