Emirates First Class passengers can now enjoy the rare Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage 2009 Champagne, available on all routes departing Dubai for a limited period. Through its exclusive partnership with Moët Hennessy, Emirates remains the only airline with direct access to this celebrated vintage, sourced straight from the winery.

The airline already serves Dom Pérignon Vintage across its First Class network, but it also curates rare vintages for its champagne programme, giving travellers the chance to experience some of the world’s most coveted wines.

Crafted only in exceptional years, Dom Pérignon Rosé is a bold interpretation of the house style, with a higher proportion of Pinot Noir and the addition of still red wine, offering intensity, structure, and an expressive character distinct from the luminous finesse of the classic Dom Pérignon Vintage.

The 2009 vintage is regarded as particularly generous, blending Grand Cru Pinot Noir from Aÿ and Bouzy with Chardonnay, then matured for 12 years. Tasting notes include rose petals, orange oil, saffron, raspberry, cassis, fig, and hints of licorice and gingerbread, finishing with supple richness and enduring sapidity.

First Class passengers can check whether Dom Pérignon Rosé 2009 will be served on their journey by visiting the ‘What’s on your flight’ feature on emirates.com or the Emirates app.

Emirates Champagne programme

Emirates invests heavily in its onboard wine and spirits offering, purchasing more champagne than any other airline worldwide. Current exclusives include Dom Pérignon Vintage 2015, Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage 2009, Dom Pérignon Plénitude 2 2006, Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage Blanc 2016, Veuve Clicquot Vintage Blanc 2015, and more. In Premium Economy, Emirates exclusively serves Chandon Vintage Brut 2019.

The airline has invested more than $1 billion in its wine programme over the last 16 years. Its French wine cellar holds 6.5 million bottles, with some vintages not expected to be uncorked until 2035. Emirates offers 37 French wine and champagne labels across its cabins, with red Bordeaux in Business Class typically aged 8–10 years, and First Class wines served 12–15 years after purchase.
