Emirates is bringing Oktoberfest to the skies this month, offering passengers Bavarian-inspired cuisine and themed entertainment between 20 September and 5 October on flights to and from Munich, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, and Frankfurt.

Festive dining in the sky

Across all cabins, passengers will enjoy traditional German dishes with a seasonal twist.

  • First Class: Poached Alaskan King crab, roasted pumpkin soup, and braised veal shank, followed by Kaiserschmarren pancakes or apple strudel. A new Oktoberfest-themed movie snack pairs smoked meats, cheeses, and pretzels for a festive inflight treat.
  • Business Class: Menus include duck liver terrine, braised beef short ribs, and classic red cabbage, with desserts such as baked cheesecake or apple strudel.
  • Economy Class: Passengers can enjoy chicken sausage rolls with onion jus or baked chicken with paprika cream, ending with a Black Forest cake dessert.

A380 onboard lounge

In the iconic A380 Onboard Lounge, Oktoberfest-themed sandwiches and pretzels will be served alongside traditional pastries, including plum cake and German-style cheesecake.

Entertainment with a German flair

Emirates’ inflight entertainment system, ice, will feature 22 German films, over 350 Hollywood blockbusters dubbed in German, and 31 playlists and albums of German music, complementing the festive inflight experience.

Emirates’ Oktoberfest celebrations will run across triple-daily flights to Frankfurt and double-daily services to Munich, Düsseldorf, and Hamburg.
