Air Canada is enhancing its Economy Class offering with a refreshed onboard experience that includes complimentary beer, wine, and a selection of Canadian-made snacks on all flights, even on routes to Mexico and the Caribbean.
Launched on September 1, the initiative reinforces the airline’s focus on elevating the travel experience for leisure passengers, showcasing homegrown flavors and expanding inclusivity with non-alcoholic options. Notably, Air Canada is now the only North American carrier to serve non-alcoholic beer inflight, with Heineken 0.0 joining its complimentary beverage lineup.
“As part of our commitment to elevating the onboard experience, we’re delighted to introduce even more exciting new options to our menus,” said Scott O’Leary, Vice President, Loyalty & Product at Air Canada. “These upgrades offer something for everyone and proudly showcase Canadian brands so that our customers can sit back, relax and kick-start their travels no matter where they’re going.”

A Taste of Canada in Every Cabin
Passengers can now enjoy a range of new treats and drinks depending on flight time:

- Toronto–Billy Bishop flights (after 10:30 a.m.): Greenhouse Ginger Defence Wellness Shots, made from organic, plant-based ingredients, add an energizing twist to the offerings.
- Air Canada Bistro expansion: The onboard menu now features more Canadian-made products, such as Summer Fresh Hummus & Crackers, Quaker Maple & Brown Sugar Oatmeal Cups, TWIGZ Sour Cream & Onion Pretzels, and Smarties.

Beyond the Tray Table
The food and beverage refresh complements a wider push by Air Canada to enhance passenger comfort and convenience across the travel journey. The carrier has recently introduced upgrades to its mobile app, expanded its inflight entertainment library, and opened new and refurbished lounges.
Aeroplan Members can also enjoy fast, free Wi-Fi sponsored by Bell on flights across North America and to Sun destinations in Mexico and the Caribbean — further strengthening Air Canada’s premium Economy offering.
These improvements reflect Air Canada’s broader strategy to deliver a best-in-class experience for all passengers, positioning the airline as a leader in comfort and hospitality across North America.
