Continuing its tradition of bringing India’s rich festival culture to the skies, Akasa Air is all set to launch the fourth edition of its Diwali festive meal under Café Akasa, the airline’s in-flight dining service.

The specially curated Diwali meal features Mini Paneer Parathas with Amritsari Chole, Paneer Jalebi with Basundi for dessert, and a beverage of choice, offering passengers a true festive indulgence. Available throughout October across Akasa Air’s network, the meal can be pre-booked via the airline’s website and mobile app, ensuring passengers enjoy the festive flavours even at 35,000 feet.

“Diwali is a time of togetherness, warmth, and joy,” said an airline spokesperson. “Café Akasa brings that essence onboard by blending traditional flavours with indulgent treats, allowing travellers to celebrate the festival in the skies and making air travel a memorable part of their Diwali experience.”

Since launching operations in August 2022, Akasa Air has been committed to offering festival-inspired meals, from Makar Sankranti to Holi, Eid, Dussehra, Christmas, and more. Café Akasa also allows passengers to pre-select cakes for birthdays or special occasions while flying.

Café Akasa’s menu is designed to cater to diverse palates, offering over 45 meal options, including gourmet fusion dishes, regional specialities, appetisers, and decadent desserts. All items are thoughtfully created by reputed chefs from across India, with attention to health-conscious and modern dining preferences.

Café Akasa combines global flavours, wholesome meals, and indulgent treats to deliver a premium, flexible dining experience onboard. It offers a wide assortment of meals, snacks, beverages, and ready-to-eat options, ensuring there is something for every traveller, whether they prefer light meals, regional favourites, or celebratory treats.

Akasa Air stands out with its tech-led, customer-first approach, youthful brand personality, and employee-friendly culture. Its modern fleet offers ample legroom and USB ports on most aircraft. Passengers can also travel with pets through Pets on Akasa, and choose from 25+ ancillary products such as early boarding, extra seats, meal deals, and Akasa Holidays.

Innovations such as SkyScore, SkyLights, QuietFlights, and accessibility features like Braille onboard menus and safety cards further enhance the passenger experience. With Café Akasa and these initiatives, Akasa Air continues to redefine in-flight hospitality, making every journey more comfortable, inclusive, and memorable.
