Qantas is serving up a fresh take on inflight dining, unveiling new menus across its domestic network that celebrate Australian producers, regional flavours and Indigenous food heritage.

Rolling out in both Business and Economy cabins, the revamped offering introduces nearly 70 dishes on rotation across six mealtimes, ensuring even the most frequent flyers will find something new to savour each week.

A celebration of Australian craftsmanship

The menu puts the spotlight on much-loved local names, pairing comfort with creativity. Passengers can now enjoy beef and mushroom pies crafted by Sydney-based Simmone Logue, artisan toasties from Queensland’s The Handmade Food Co., and decadent desserts from Manna from Heaven.

Deepening its ties with First Nations enterprises, Qantas continues its collaboration with DreamTime Tuka by Uncle Herb Smith, renowned for bringing authentic Indigenous bush ingredients to the skies. The airline also welcomes Cooee, a female-led Indigenous business founded by Terri-Anne Daniel, debuting its nostalgic Jam Drop Cookies inspired by her grandmother’s recipe.

Lounge dining takes centre stage

On the ground, Qantas is also elevating the experience inside its domestic lounges.

  • In Brisbane, a new Bakery Station tempts guests with cinnamon scrolls, egg and bacon quiches, and classic sausage rolls served fresh from noon.
  • From November, travellers through Melbourne’s Domestic Business Lounge can stop by the Spice Bar for made-to-order dishes like nasi goreng with fried egg or poached eggs on sourdough with chilli oil.
  • Over in Perth, the Pizza Bar is firing up bacon and egg pizzas, adding a savoury twist to the morning rush.

What’s on the new menu

Business Class highlights:

  • Coconut, Blueberry & Lemon Bread with Lemon Curd
  • Brie & Onion Tart with Beetroot Relish & Rocket
  • Lamb & Rosemary Pie with Crisp Potatoes & Peas
  • Smoked Salmon with Zucchini Pickles & Lemon Dressing
  • Garlic Prawns with Parmesan Cream & Fettuccine
  • Red Wine Angus Beef with Mash & Green Beans

Economy Class highlights:

  • Egg & Chorizo Toastie with Smoky Tomato Chutney – The Handmade Food Co.
  • Beef Sausage Burrito Wrap – Yummy Karma
  • Chocolate Caramel Slice – Manna from Heaven
  • Jam Drop Cookie – Cooee Cookies
  • Macadamia Butterscotch Cake – DreamTime Tuka

Elevating taste, supporting local

From paddock to plate and all the way to cruising altitude, Qantas’ latest culinary refresh blends Australian hospitality with homegrown flavour. It’s a menu designed not just to nourish, but to tell the story of the country’s producers, artisans, and culinary diversity, one bite at a time.
