Qatar Executive, the private jet charter arm of the Qatar Airways Group, has announced plans to equip its entire ultra-long-range fleet with Starlink high-speed in-flight connectivity by early 2026, setting a new benchmark for connectivity in private aviation.
The fleet-wide installation will cover all Gulfstream and Bombardier aircraft types operated by Qatar Executive, enabling passengers to access ultra-fast, low-latency internet comparable to ground-based speeds throughout their journey.
The rollout is already well underway. Half of the Gulfstream G650ER fleet and all Bombardier Global 5000 aircraft are currently flying with Starlink installed, delivering seamless connectivity that supports real-time communication, high-definition streaming, and productivity applications without interruption.

All remaining Gulfstream G650ER aircraft and the entire Gulfstream G700 fleet are scheduled to complete installation by early 2026. Notably, all Starlink installations are being carried out in-house by Qatar Executive’s technical teams, allowing the operator to maintain tight quality control while accelerating deployment timelines.
Commenting on the announcement, Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Officer, Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer said the initiative reflects the group’s broader commitment to excellence across both commercial and private aviation.
“By equipping our entire ultra-long-range fleet with Starlink and completing installations with our own skilled technical teams, we are setting a new standard for private aviation,” he said. “This initiative delivers an experience that goes beyond expectations and truly feels like a home in the sky.”
The connectivity upgrade further enhances the onboard environment, complementing Qatar Executive’s premium cabin interiors and bespoke service model, while also strengthening synergies across the wider Qatar Airways Group.
Qatar Executive operates a wholly owned, state-of-the-art fleet comprising eight Gulfstream G700s, fifteen Gulfstream G650ERs, two Bombardier Global 5000s, and one Airbus A319CJ. The fleet operates under a “floating fleet” concept, allowing aircraft to reposition globally to meet client demand efficiently while minimising non-revenue flying.
Beyond charter services, Qatar Executive also provides aircraft management, maintenance, and fixed-base operator (FBO) services, supported by a dedicated team available 24/7 to manage every aspect of the customer journey.
With full-fleet Starlink connectivity on the horizon, Qatar Executive is reinforcing its position at the forefront of connected, ultra-long-range private aviation, where cabin comfort and digital experience are increasingly inseparable.
