Irish composite manufacturer ÉireComposites has secured its first production contract in the commercial aircraft seating market, marking its entry into the aircraft cabin interiors supply chain.
The contract covers the manufacture of an initial batch of composite interior panels and structural components for a customer operating in the premium aircraft seating segment. The components will be integrated into high-end seating systems, where low weight, structural strength and surface finish are critical performance requirements.

ÉireComposites has historically supplied composite structures for aerospace and industrial applications. This programme represents the company’s first production engagement specifically focused on aircraft seating and passenger-facing cabin interior components.
According to the company, the initial production run will support an active seating programme, with scope for increased production volumes as aircraft programmes mature. To meet cabin interior requirements, ÉireComposites has invested in new tooling, process development and enhanced quality controls aimed at achieving consistent production and high cosmetic standards.
The move aligns with broader aircraft interiors trends, including the increasing use of advanced composite materials to reduce aircraft weight, improve fuel efficiency and support evolving passenger experience requirements.
ÉireComposites stated that the contract strengthens its position within the aerospace manufacturing sector while enabling expansion into the growing aircraft interiors and seating market.
