American Airlines will roll out a range of limited-edition onboard amenities in April to mark its 100th anniversary, including themed amenity kits, pajamas and updated slippers for premium cabin passengers.
The airline will introduce three versions of its centennial amenity kits, Astrojet, Silverbird and Forward, each reflecting different periods in the airline’s history through design elements. The kits will be available across premium cabins, with contents varying by class.
In Flagship First and Flagship Suite Preferred seats, kits will include items such as an eye mask, socks, skincare products, a foldable comb, mouthwash, and a toothbrush with toothpaste. Business class kits will feature a reduced selection, while Premium Economy kits will include basic comfort items such as an eye mask, socks and toothpaste.

American Airlines is also introducing limited-edition pajamas for premium passengers, along with updated closed-toe slippers. Pajamas will be available in Flagship First and select long-haul Flagship Business routes, including services to regions such as Asia, the Middle East, India, Australia, and New Zealand.
The new onboard products are part of the airline’s broader centennial programme, which includes special aircraft liveries, updated inflight menus, and themed onboard and lounge branding.
The initiative focuses on updating soft product offerings in premium cabins, with an emphasis on passenger comfort and standardisation across long-haul services.
