Jet 1 Charter has successfully renewed its WYVERN WINGMAN Certified Operator status, reaffirming its commitment to maintaining the highest standards of operational safety, risk management and continuous improvement across its flight operations.

The certification is maintained through Jet 1 Charter’s ongoing participation in the WYVERN Flight Leader Program, which combines regular operational oversight with quarterly coaching to strengthen safety performance and promote industry best practices.

“We at Jet 1 Charter are proud to be recognised for achieving WYVERN WINGMAN Certification through our commitment to providing world-class flight operations,” said Keaton Phillips, President, Jet 1 Charter, Inc. “Achieving this level of recognition is a testament to our entire team’s dedication to safe operations and delivering the highest level of service to our customers. Safety is a foundational principle at Jet 1 Charter, and our partnership with WYVERN demonstrates that commitment.”

The internationally recognised WYVERN WINGMAN Standard evaluates charter operators across multiple areas of operational safety, including Safety Management Systems (SMS), compliance management, risk assessment, human factors, emergency response planning, internal audits and training programmes.

As part of the Flight Leader Program, participating operators also gain access to WYVERN’s integrated safety management platform, which includes tools for Flight Operational Quality Assurance (FOQA), Aviation Safety Action Programme (ASAP) reporting, fatigue risk management, Flight Risk Assessment Tools (FRAT) and Continuing Analysis and Surveillance System (CASS) monitoring. These digital capabilities support proactive risk identification and data-driven operational oversight.

Jet 1 Charter also continues to participate in WYVERN’s independent safety reviews, providing detailed information on its Safety Management System and Emergency Response Plan while benefiting from annual safety culture assessments, comprehensive SMS evaluations and advanced safety leadership training.

“Maintaining the highest levels of safety requires dedication at every level of an organisation, and Jet 1 Charter continues to exemplify that commitment,” said Andrew Day, Chief Operating Officer, WYVERN Ltd. “Its renewed WYVERN WINGMAN Certification reflects an organisation that prioritises accountability, continuous evaluation and excellence in every aspect of its operations.”

The renewed certification highlights the growing emphasis within the business aviation sector on independent safety validation, operational transparency and continuous improvement, strengthening passenger confidence while supporting higher standards of service across charter operations.
