LATAM Airlines Group has unveiled the cabin configuration and passenger experience features of its new Embraer E195-E2 fleet, which will enter service with LATAM Airlines Brazil in the fourth quarter of 2026 as part of the carrier’s domestic network expansion strategy.
The airline has placed a firm order for 24 Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, with the new fleet designed to combine enhanced passenger comfort, onboard connectivity, and modern cabin technology while supporting improved regional connectivity across Brazil.
Each aircraft will accommodate 136 passengers in a 2-2 seating configuration, eliminating middle seats throughout the cabin. The aircraft will feature both Premium Economy and Economy cabins, with up to 20 Premium Economy seats depending on the final aircraft layout.

The Premium Economy cabin will offer increased legroom, greater seat recline, and dedicated onboard service without blocking adjacent seats. Across both cabins, passengers will benefit from ergonomic seating equipped with adjustable headrests, reclining backrests, integrated personal device holders, and USB-C charging ports, reflecting the airline’s focus on improving the onboard passenger experience.
“While these are new aircraft, passengers can expect the same distinctive LATAM experience they know and trust. At LATAM, we are committed to continuously evolving the travel experience for our customers. Every addition to our fleet strengthens our ability to offer a comfortable, connected, and personalized journey, reflecting what our passengers value most,” said Paulo Miranda, Vice President of Customers at LATAM Airlines Group.
Connectivity will be a key feature of the new aircraft, with the Embraer E195-E2 fleet equipped with SES’s latest satellite connectivity technology to deliver lower-latency, more reliable inflight internet. Members of the LATAM Pass loyalty programme will receive complimentary onboard Wi-Fi, enabling continuous connectivity throughout the flight.
The aircraft will also feature the airline’s LATAM Play entertainment platform, providing access to more than 2,000 hours of content, including approximately 300 films, over 1,000 television episodes, more than 900 music albums, children’s programming, reading material, and content from streaming partners including Disney+, HBO Max, and Paramount+. The digital entertainment offering will complement the airline’s onboard food and beverage service.
The introduction of the Embraer E195-E2 fleet forms part of LATAM’s broader strategy to modernise its domestic operations, enhance regional connectivity, and deliver a more consistent passenger experience through upgraded cabin interiors, digital services, and next-generation aircraft.
