Air France has debuted a redesigned cabin on its Embraer 190, operated by HOP!, with a strong focus on passenger comfort, design consistency, and sustainability. The refreshed interior draws on the airline’s latest design identity, already introduced on the Airbus A220, and offers a lighter, brighter travel environment with upgraded seating and new digital conveniences.
The 110-seat cabin in a 2-2 layout features new Expliseat-designed seats upholstered in leather and shaped with ergonomic foam to improve comfort on short- and medium-haul flights. Each seat offers up to three inches of recline, adjustable headrests, foldable armrests, and practical details such as a tray table, coat hook, double cup holder, and dedicated storage. Passengers can secure smartphones or tablets on an integrated stand and recharge devices via USB-A and USB-C ports.

For Business Class travelers, a movable divider enhances privacy, while from October 2025, each passenger will benefit from a guaranteed adjacent empty seat. All customers can connect to free, high-speed Wi-Fi, a first for the E190, simply by logging into their Flying Blue account.
The design aesthetic balances Air France’s signature blue and white palette with subtle red detailing. Embroidered headrests and a herringbone-pattern carpet inspired by Parisian Haussmann apartments create a refined, residential feel onboard.
Sustainability is built into the seat design. Produced in Angers with French manufacturer Expliseat and designer Andrea Mocellin, the structure combines carbon fibre, titanium, and aluminium, making each seat 30% lighter than the previous generation. This weight saving reduces fuel burn and CO₂ emissions while incorporating recycled materials to support circular economy principles.
