Airshare has selected the Gogo Galileo HDX inflight connectivity system for its fleet of Embraer Phenom 300 aircraft, expanding broadband connectivity capabilities across its managed, fractional ownership and charter operations.
The upgrade will provide passengers and crew with access to low-latency internet services, supporting applications such as video conferencing, streaming, email and web browsing during flight.
According to Gogo, the decision followed a demonstration flight in which Airshare evaluated the system under operational conditions. During the one-hour flight, 23 devices were connected simultaneously across eight passengers and two crew members, with more than 16GB of data transferred while supporting streaming, video calls and productivity applications.

The Gogo Galileo HDX system is powered by the Eutelsat OneWeb low-Earth-orbit (LEO) satellite network and is designed to provide global broadband connectivity for business aviation aircraft. The electronically steered antenna (ESA) is intended to minimise installation complexity while delivering connectivity speeds of up to 60 Mbps.
Installations are scheduled to begin this month at Airshare’s maintenance facility in Wichita, Kansas.
“Delivering premium connectivity that keeps customers productive and entertained is essential to our flying experience,” said John Owen, CEO of Airshare. “We look forward to offering our Phenom 300 customers the same standard they expect at the office or at home.”
The move reflects growing passenger expectations for reliable onboard internet access across all categories of business aircraft, including light and midsize jets traditionally limited by connectivity options.
“High performance connectivity is no longer a nice-to-have, and it’s no longer limited to large cabin aircraft,” said Michael Skou Christensen, Chief Commercial Officer at Gogo. “Passengers expect to board, connect, and stay fully productive and entertained simultaneously.”
The deployment is expected to enhance the onboard passenger experience across Airshare’s Phenom 300 fleet by providing continuous access to communication, entertainment and productivity services throughout the flight.
