Akasa Air has unveiled the third refresh of its Café Akasa in-flight dining service, introducing a reimagined menu that combines health, indulgence, and innovation to deliver a premium, café-style experience in the skies. The new menu, launched in October 2025, underscores the airline’s philosophy of continuous improvement and its ambition to redefine how passengers experience onboard dining.

The refreshed menu features 45 thoughtfully curated options, ranging from wholesome breakfast bowls and protein-rich meals to inventive global fusions such as Chicken Schnitzel with Garlic Spinach, Tofu Kari Pan with Edamame, and Thai Spice Salad. With a blend of Indian, Asian, and European influences, the offering reflects Akasa’s vision of connecting India with the world, while catering to modern travellers’ expectations for variety, flexibility, and healthier choices.

Café Akasa continues to prioritise inclusivity with meals designed for diverse dietary needs, including Jain preparations, a wide array of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, kid-friendly options, and health-forward selections. For the first time, the airline has introduced multi-course gourmet meals, such as the Veg Fusion Gourmet Meal and Chicken Feast Gourmet Meal, featuring desserts infused with contemporary flavours like matcha.

The latest menu introduces several firsts in Indian aviation, including a ready-to-eat organic cereal bowl and a protein combo pack with a shake and bar, designed for travellers seeking convenience and nutrition in equal measure.

Staying true to its tradition of celebrating India’s cultural richness, Akasa will continue offering specially curated festive meals for occasions such as Diwali, Holi, Eid, and Christmas, alongside seasonal menus for events like International Yoga Day and Onam. Passengers can also pre-order cakes for special celebrations onboard, enhancing the sense of personalised travel.

In line with its reputation as one of the greenest airlines globally, Akasa ensures that Café Akasa adheres to sustainable practices. All meal packaging is 100% recyclable, sourced from ethically grown crops, and free from bleach and optical brightening agents. Wooden cutlery provided onboard is fully biodegradable, while the airline’s pre-booking system minimises food wastage.

Commenting on the refresh, Naarayan TV, Chief Marketing Officer, Akasa Air, said:
“Food is at the heart of travel, and at Akasa, we see onboard dining as an integral part of the customer experience. The new Café Akasa menu is a thoughtful response to what today’s traveller values most: health-forward options, diverse global inspirations, and the flexibility of all-day dining. This is not just a meal; it is an extension of Akasa’s care and customer-first ethos.”

By combining innovation, inclusivity, and sustainability, Akasa Air is setting a new benchmark in in-flight dining, transforming mealtimes into memorable moments and further strengthening its promise of making every journey a delightful experience.
