Business Jet has just hit a major milestone, completing two of the first Starlink installations on the Gulfstream GIV following the STC (Supplemental Type Certificate) approval in late August. This is just the beginning—next up is the Legacy 600 certification, expected in December.

On its latest flight, the Gulfstream GIV wowed passengers with download speeds of up to 295 Mbps, making it possible to stream three movies simultaneously without any buffering. Passengers and crew alike have been calling the service a “Game Changer.” It’s clear that Starlink is bringing a whole new level of connectivity to business aviation, keeping passengers connected from takeoff to landing—whether for work or play.

Lina Sabbah, Director of Aircraft Solutions and Acquisitions at Business Jet, shared her excitement: “The addition of the GIV to our lineup has been a huge hit with owners and operators. We’re proud to offer customized solutions that improve our clients’ flying experience.”

Expanding Connectivity Options for Business Aviation
As demand for reliable in-flight internet grows, Starlink is quickly becoming a go-to solution for business jet owners. Starlink’s high-speed, low-latency internet lets travelers stay productive and entertained during their flights, whether for business or leisure.

Business Jet’s team is experienced in installing Starlink on various aircraft models, with current STCs available for a wide range of Gulfstream and Bombardier Global models. The company recommends scheduling Starlink installation during annual inspections or other major maintenance events.

Here’s a quick look at the aircraft models currently eligible for Starlink installation:

Gulfstream: GIV, GV, G450, G550, G650, G650ER
Bombardier Global: 5000, 6000, 6500, 7500, Express, XRS
Looking ahead, STCs for the Bombardier Global 5500 will be available by the end of the year, with more models like the Challenger 300/350 set for early 2025.

Business Jet is ready to help jet owners enhance their inflight experience with seamless, high-speed connectivity.
