Duncan Aviation has completed a full interior refurbishment and exterior repaint of a Dassault Falcon 900EX at its Battle Creek, Michigan, facility, delivering a modernised cabin with design elements influenced by contemporary luxury yacht interiors.
The project was undertaken to replace a worn and dated cabin with a lighter, more durable interior while retaining a timeless aesthetic suitable for long-term operation. The refurbishment included updated soft furnishings, re-veneered cabinetry, redesigned seating, targeted galley modifications and refreshed metal finishes, alongside a new exterior paint scheme.
The cabin features a palette of cool greys and off-whites across soft goods to enhance the sense of space and brightness, complemented by navy blue accents in the carpet and lower sidewalls. According to Duncan Aviation, the colour scheme was selected to balance visual interest with a calm, uncluttered cabin environment.

Cabinetry throughout the aircraft was re-veneered using a straight-grain composite veneer in a blonde-to-honey tone with a high-gloss finish, intended to provide both durability and a contemporary appearance. The mid-cabin settee was reupholstered with sharper tailoring to improve seating geometry and overall cabin cohesion.
Cabin seating was updated with design cues drawn from the Falcon 7X, including a single stripe detail running along the seat backs and cushions. The design aims to introduce a modern visual element while maintaining comfort for long-range operations.
In the forward cabin, the galley annexe was modified to accommodate a new microwave and additional storage, improving functionality for extended missions. Grey-blue woven vinyl flooring was installed in high-traffic areas such as the entryway and aft lavatory to improve wear resistance while maintaining visual consistency with the cabin carpet.
Existing latches and pulls were retained but re-plated in satin chrome, updating the cabin’s metal finishes without requiring full hardware replacement.
The exterior repaint features a Matterhorn White base with navy blue striping that expands toward the aft fuselage and vertical stabiliser, visually linking the exterior design with the cabin colour palette.
Duncan Aviation said the combined interior and exterior work was aimed at delivering a cohesive, owner-focused refurbishment aligned with current design trends in business aviation interiors.
