Emirates has introduced a new generation of amenity kits for Premium Economy and Economy Class passengers on long-haul services, featuring sustainable materials, collectible design, and storytelling about wildlife conservation.
Rolling out globally from December, the new kits are produced using bio-based materials, including cactus-derived alternatives, and feature hand-illustrated designs spotlighting endangered species. The initiative has been developed in collaboration with United for Wildlife, reinforcing the airline’s growing focus on sustainability within cabin products and soft interiors.
Design-led keepsakes with a conservation message
The amenity kits are presented as reusable pouches inspired by four natural habitatsse, sky, forest and desert, with each design featuring a specific endangered species. Inside every kit, a story card provides background on the animal depicted, encouraging passengers to engage with wildlife conservation themes beyond the flight.

Species highlighted across the collection include pangolins, Bengal tigers, African grey parrots, manta rays, green sea turtles, Arabian oryx, Bornean orangutans and Cape vultures, among others.

Passengers can also explore conservation efforts through Emirates’ in-flight entertainment system, ice, which features the “Guardians” documentary series produced in partnership with HRH Prince William’s United for Wildlife initiative.
First dedicated amenity kit for Premium Economy
For the first time since the cabin’s introduction in 2021, Emirates Premium Economy now features a dedicated amenity kit design. The larger pouch includes a wrist strap and a curated selection of travel wellness items, positioning the product closer to a business-class soft product experience.
Contents include socks, eyeshades, earplugs, a dental kit, and skincare products from Aveda, marking the brand’s debut in Emirates’ Premium Economy offering. Socks and eyeshades are manufactured using 100% recycled post-consumer polyester, while paper components are sourced from responsibly managed forests.

The Premium Economy kits are available on selected long-duration overnight flights and feature artwork representing species such as chimpanzees, glass frogs, small-clawed otters, peregrine falcons and fennec foxes.
Updated Economy Class kits
Emirates has also refreshed its Economy Class amenity kits, introducing brighter colour palettes and the same wildlife-focused storytelling approach. The kits include essential comfort items and follow similar material sustainability principles, including recycled textiles and responsibly sourced paper packaging.
Aligning cabin products with sustainability goals
The amenity kit programme supports the Emirates Environmental Sustainability Framework, particularly its commitment to combating illegal wildlife trade. Emirates is a member of the United for Wildlife Transport Taskforce and maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards the illegal transport of wildlife products. Its cargo division, Emirates SkyCargo, continues to enforce a ban on hunting trophies from endangered species.
By integrating conservation messaging, sustainable materials and elevated design into everyday cabin products, Emirates is positioning amenity kits not just as comfort items, but as part of a broader strategy to enhance passenger experience while supporting environmental responsibility within aircraft interiors.
