EVA Air has selected the Arc 3D in-flight map platform from Panasonic Avionics Corporation for its Boeing 787, 777-300ER and upcoming Airbus A350-1000 aircraft.
The airline has become the first carrier in Taiwan to introduce Panasonic Avionics’ Arc 3D flight map software, which includes updated graphics, multiple viewing angles and destination information integrated into the inflight entertainment system.
Passengers can access more than 15 map perspectives, including overhead, cockpit-style and window views. The platform also adds street-level maps for selected cities and supports in-map advertising management through Panasonic’s OneMedia software tool.

In addition, the airline has selected the Arc Vistas screensaver feature, which provides moving aerial scenery and live flight progress information.
Patrick Biggerstaff, Senior Director of Digital Solutions Product Line Management at Panasonic Avionics, said: “Arc is designed to make air travel a more enjoyable and engaging experience for passengers of all ages.
