American Airlines has introduced new California wine selections in premium cabins on select domestic and international flights as part of a broader refresh of its inflight beverage program.
From May 13, passengers travelling in Flagship First and Flagship Business on international routes will be served Truchard Vineyards Chardonnay from Napa Valley and Decoy Cabernet Sauvignon from Alexander Valley. On transcontinental Flagship services, the airline has added Migration Chardonnay from Sonoma Coast and Justin Cabernet Sauvignon from Paso Robles.

According to American Airlines, the wines were selected following customer feedback and are intended to complement the carrier’s existing chef-curated inflight menus.
The airline said the update marks the first phase of wider changes planned for its onboard wine programme later this year.
American Airlines noted that its inflight wine programme has previously received industry recognition, including Global Traveler’s “Best North American Wines on the Wing” award in 2024.
