Moment has introduced an ISP-independent inflight Wi-Fi portal aimed at giving airlines greater control over onboard connectivity and the passenger digital experience.

The platform functions as a digital layer between connectivity infrastructure and onboard services, allowing airlines to manage branding, access models, and user interface through a dedicated back-office system. It is designed to work across multiple connectivity providers and aircraft types, enabling a consistent passenger experience regardless of the underlying network.

According to the company, the portal supports standardized access rules, service levels, and interface design, while also enabling airlines to tailor content and offers based on route, cabin class, or passenger profile.

The system also includes tools for testing and adjusting service models, allowing operators to modify offers and monetization strategies over time. This could support ancillary revenue generation as well as passenger engagement initiatives linked to connectivity services.

“We are entering a new phase of onboard connectivity, where infrastructure alone is no longer a differentiator nor a competitive investment. The competitive edge lies in how airlines orchestrate the digital experience on top of it, turning connectivity into a platform for engagement, personalization, and growth,” said Tanguy Morel, CEO and co-founder, Moment.
