Starling Aerospace will introduce a new family of aircraft seats at the Aircraft Interiors Expo 2026 in Hamburg, marking an expansion of its interiors portfolio.
The new seating range includes three models: the SA4000 for economy class, the SA5000 for corporate and premium cabins, and the SA6000 for VIP aircraft. The seats are designed for use across multiple aircraft types, including Airbus and Boeing platforms, as well as business jets and rotary-wing aircraft.
The SA4000 focuses on weight reduction and maintenance considerations for commercial operations. The SA5000 is a modular “club-style” seating platform for premium cabins, while the SA6000 is being developed as a fully customisable seat for private jet operators, with features such as lie-flat capability and flexible configurations.

Alongside the new seating products, Starling highlighted its in-house certification and manufacturing capabilities. The company holds UK CAA and EASA approvals covering design, production, maintenance and material testing, allowing it to carry out cabin modifications, refurbishment and certification within a single organisation.
This integrated approach enables operators to manage cabin upgrade programmes through one provider, covering design, engineering, manufacturing and regulatory approval processes.
The launch reflects broader growth in the aircraft interiors and cabin refurbishment segment, driven by demand for fleet upgrades, passenger experience improvements and customised cabin solutions across commercial and business aviation. Companies are expanding product portfolios and in-house capabilities to reduce turnaround times, streamline certification and meet increasing requirements for cabin modification programmes.
