Gulfstream Aerospace has officially delivered its first G800, the world’s longest-range business jet, following recent certifications by both the FAA and EASA. The milestone aircraft, completed at Gulfstream’s Appleton, Wisconsin, facility, highlights the company’s emphasis on cabin innovation and passenger comfort.

The G800 interior is designed to meet the needs of long-range travelers with maximum flexibility. Customers can configure the cabin with up to four distinct living areas, or three living spaces plus a dedicated crew compartment for ultra-long missions. Passengers will also benefit from the aircraft’s industry-leading low cabin altitude of just 2,840 ft (866 m) while cruising at 41,000 ft, combined with 100% fresh air circulation and plasma ionization purification for enhanced wellness on board.

The jet’s 16 signature Gulfstream Panoramic Oval Windows flood the cabin with natural light, while advanced noise-reduction technologies ensure a quiet environment conducive to rest and productivity. The G800 recently earned the 2025 International Yacht & Aviation Award for Private Jet Design, underlining its luxury-focused interiors.

Mark Burns, president of Gulfstream, said: “We have seen astounding demand for the G800, and the entire Gulfstream team is excited to begin making deliveries to our customers. The G800 enters service with extraordinary program maturity, and we look forward to passengers experiencing its remarkable cabin comfort and capabilities.”

The Appleton completions facility, which specializes in large-cabin aircraft, played a central role in outfitting the first G800. With expanded capacity, it is prepared to meet the strong customer demand for Gulfstream’s next-generation fleet.
