West Entertainment and All Nippon Airways (ANA) have renewed their multi-year partnership, reinforcing their shared commitment to deliver highly personalized in-flight entertainment (IFE) experiences for millions of ANA passengers. The announcement was formalized during a signing ceremony at APEX Global EXPO 2025.

The expanded collaboration will see West Entertainment continue to curate ANA’s IFE portfolio using advanced digital workflows and analytics tools such as West IQ, designed to enhance personalization and anticipate passenger preferences.

“Entertainment plays a very important role in the customer experience,” said Toshiya Shimada, Vice President of Product and Services Planning at ANA. “We want to personalize content to meet the needs of each passenger, and West Entertainment is the partner that can achieve this.”

For West, the partnership reflects ANA’s meticulous service standards and cultural values such as omotenashi, the Japanese principle of thoughtful hospitality. “From our point of view, ANA is the gold standard,” said Rick Warren, Managing Partner and CEO of West Entertainment. “Their commitment to detail inspires us to deliver at the same level.”

Beyond technology, the collaboration emphasizes efficiency and human-centered innovation. West’s digital tools aim to streamline ANA’s IFE operations, enabling the airline to focus on strategy while maintaining its award-winning service culture.

Looking ahead, the two companies are exploring next-generation initiatives, including integration with global streaming platforms, predictive personalization, and seamless digital workflows, setting new benchmarks for airline entertainment.
