Bombardier has announced an exclusive collaboration with luxury fashion house ELIE SAAB to design a bespoke passenger cabin for its flagship Global 8000 business jet. This partnership marks the first time Bombardier has joined forces with a couture brand, signalling a new era of personalised, high-fashion aircraft interiors that merge aviation engineering with world-class luxury design.

The custom ELIE SAAB interior for the Global 8000 will be officially unveiled in 2026 and offered as an optional design package. The concept aims to bring haute couture sensibilities into the cabin environment, blending refined aesthetics, superior craftsmanship, and thoughtful functionality to deliver a uniquely elegant passenger experience.

The collaboration brings together Bombardier’s decades of expertise in business aircraft manufacturing with ELIE SAAB’s globally recognised design language, characterised by meticulous detailing, rich textures, and an unmistakable sense of sophistication.

According to both companies, the goal is to create a cabin that feels like a seamless extension of luxury living, offering a space where comfort, artistry, and engineering excellence intersect.

Elie Saab Junior, Vice President and General Manager of the ELIE SAAB Group, and Éric Martel, President and CEO of Bombardier, commemorated the partnership together, underscoring the shared values that shaped this initiative.

The Global 8000 already stands at the top of Bombardier’s portfolio, offering top speed of Mach 0.95, class-leading 8,000 nautical mile range, lowest cabin altitude in the industry and exceptional field performance, enabling operations from airports with short runways and challenging weather.

The ELIE SAAB-designed interior will add a new layer of exclusivity, allowing customers to personalise their aircraft with a design that reflects elite taste and lifestyle.

“Global 8000 customers already enjoy the finest in business aviation,” said Bombardier CEO Éric Martel. “This collaboration further elevates the aircraft’s distinctive characteristics and represents our commitment to an unparalleled customer experience. By combining Bombardier’s engineering and craftsmanship with ELIE SAAB’s iconic design vision, we are offering something truly unique, the pinnacle of elegance with spectacular attention to detail.”

For ELIE SAAB, this partnership marks a significant step in its expansion into the lifestyle and luxury interiors segment.

“Partnering with Bombardier marks an important milestone in our strategic growth,” said Elie Saab Junior. “Together, we are shaping a new expression of luxury in aviation. Our craftsmanship, paired with Bombardier’s engineering mastery, brings to life a cabin design that delivers unmatched refinement and comfort for a global clientele.”

The collaboration is expected to set a new standard for bespoke aircraft interiors, combining longstanding family values, design heritage, and high-performance innovation. As travellers increasingly look for personalised and immersive cabin experiences, the Global 8000’s couture-inspired interior offers a fresh interpretation of luxury in the skies.

Bombardier will reveal the full ELIE SAAB design in 2026, giving customers a first look at what promises to be one of the most elegant and exclusive cabin concepts ever introduced in business aviation.
