British Airways has expanded its partnership with Grind to introduce a new bespoke coffee blend across its premium cabins and lounges.
The new blend will be served in Club Europe (short-haul business class) and Club World (long-haul business class). It has been developed jointly by the airline’s Master of Wine, Tim Jackson, and Grind’s Head of Coffee, Howard Gill.
The coffee is made using speciality-grade Arabica beans sourced from Brazilian estates. According to the airline, the blend is designed to maintain flavour at cruising altitude, offering a dark roast profile.
Passengers travelling in First will be served Grind’s espresso-based coffee, with options including the house blend and decaffeinated variants. The same offering will be available in the airline’s UK lounges through self-service machines.

The expanded agreement builds on the existing buy-on-board partnership in Euro Traveller (short-haul economy), where Grind products such as iced caramel latte, flat white, and black coffee remain available for purchase.
British Airways said coffee was among its most consumed beverages in the past year, with more than 90 tonnes served across flights and lounges.
The move forms part of the airline’s broader investment in its onboard beverage programme, which also includes updates to its wine selection and partnerships with suppliers such as Birchall.
